Welcome to iSparkle.org! This is my personal website/blog. You can find high quality scans, photos and videos available for download here. Basically anything I'm interested in and want to share...
Note: I delete all posts that discuss any personal stuff in detail after a few days usually so you won't find much of that nature in the archives. If you want to read it you'll have to keep up!

Greetings! I know it has been way too long since I posted on this site. I guess i wasn't really sure what to say, my life has been completely turned upside down in the past 6 months. In the end, I have moved cities(yet again). i didn't have anywhere of my own to live for a while which was really rough, but now that's all over and I seem to be getting back on track!
Some amazing things have happened since I moved to Brisbane. My older brother got me a really great job as a web/software developer here. It's only a short term thing but it certainly is a fluke. I get to code, which makes me happy. obviously, it has it down sides but hey, c'est la vie. I also do some marketing/ad layouts for the company and I have learned a lot about that area.
Of course, the only way I got through this year was with the help of my favorite bands Sinamore, Lacrimas and Deathstars.. and let's not forget Morrissey..I have so many things I need to post on all my sites! So much music stuff, and Sinamore have a new album i haven't even posted about yet!
Expect more in the new year... Happy 2008 everyone. Let's make this year count ;).
Artist of the Month for July 2007 - Sinamore
I've been talking about Sinamore so much lately I decided to make them artist of the month, with Mikko being the person of the month. I was sure that Lacrimas Profundere and Deathstars were going to be my new favorite bands for the next ten years but I think I'm going to have to add Sinamore to that list. At first, I didn't think they were the best shit ever, but after listening for a while I now think they rock so much. Honestly I doubt I could have got through the past few very difficult months without Sinamore (how cliche haha).
If you haven't listened to them much, you should really try to check them out. You can listen to snippets on iTunes, that's where I bought my album from. Their music is just so amazing right now i am not listening to anything else!
Anyway they have been posting some cool videos of them in the studio on the Studio Diary. Check out this vid where they are working on vocals for the new album, oh it's going to be so fucking good!
Some Annie Leibovitz Scans
Here are some scans i have made from the last few month issues of Vanity Fair. There were so many stunning photographs i had to choose only the people I liked to scan. Oh god I love Robert Redford.. almost as much DeNiro haha. Well, I'm not exactly a huge fan of Her Majesty the Queen, but it's such a great shoot. I love everything Annie does.
Vanity Fair is like my Bible, that and Metal Hammer, I have to have them every month and I always read them from cover to cover.. Anyway here are a few other cool pics I found on the VF site:
Scans from Metal Hammer
I've had a ton of scans sitting on my desktop for a few months. here are some scans from I think the may issue of Metal Hammer. There is a Nine Inch Nails article and yet another blurb on Cradle of Filth..
Videos of the Week
This week we have the classic Rob Zombie with Demonoid Phenomenon, I wish there were more albums like "Hellbilly Deluxe" in this world. You can download it in HQ in the media section now. Also, from the Deathstars it's Virtue to Vice. They released this video a few short weeks ago. There is nothing quite as great as getting a new video from your favorite band when you weren't even expecting one! Of course this one is available in HQ at VirtuetoVice.com.

RIP The Sopranos
The Sopranos ended for good recently. It's very sad to see one of the last great shows on television go :(. Now the only shows I really like are The Tudors and The Riches. The last scene of the last episode was so genius, not because of the fact that we don't know if they all got killed or not, it was just great. Here are a few Annie Leibovitz scans from the April 2007 issue of Vanity Fair.
This Week's Playlist
Well.. I know everyone has been waiting with great anticipation to hear what I have been listening to for the past few months (haha). To be honest I have mainly been listening to Finnish band Sinamore for the past few months. They are so great because of the guitar riffs and drum beats, they rock. I have finally got used to Mikko's high pitched voice. I think they need to change their look to be less Ameri-rock but otherwise they are really great. They are currently working on a new album, there is a studio blog over here that's pretty cool. Left is a picture from the blog of them in the studio. Also, if you are interested, there is a nice interview where Tommi talks about the new album over here. The end of "Sleeping Away" is just fucking amazing..
I've also been listening to a lot of Candlebox. I used to love back in the early 90s and they will remain one of my top 20 favorite bands for life it seems. I only really like the albums 'Candlebbox' and 'Lucy' though, the newer stuff is way too generic rock for me. You know, it's surprising, I often find out that many people who like cool music are closet Candlebox fans lol. Enough rambling.. on to the list!
Greetings all. I just wanted to let everyone know that I am going to be deleting all the old playlists shortly to make room for new ones. Just in case you haven't yet written down the name of that song or something, now's the time to do it!
